The high-temperature Model
4000.4ZH infrared sensor measures temperatures from -40ºC to 1100ºC or -40ºC to
2000ºF, with accuracy of ±1% of reading or ±1.0ºC or ºF. Models with Thermocouple Type J
or K Outputs measure temperature from -30ºC to 760ºC or -30ºC to 1390ºF.
The standard output is Analog Millivolt. Optional outputs include 4-20 mA, 0-5 Volt and Types J or
K Simulated Thermocouple.
The Model 4000.4ZH is used for a variety of industrial applications where taking
the temperature by any other method would be impossible due to the danger of
extreme heat or where a surface is too rough or too fragile to measure in any
other way. It is small enough and lightweight enough to mount and
run continuously or measure temperatures at given intervals.
The Model 4000.4ZH is housed in
a stainless steel body and comes with an armored cable, making the instrument
very rugged for outdoor use.
