The
NEW
AGRI-THERM II is a
non-contact, handheld infrared thermometer that is used to measure the surface
of targets in the natural environment. It measures temperatures with ±0.5ºC or
1.0ºF accuracy from -40ºC to 100ºC or
-40ºF to 212ºF. The resolution of the AGRI-THERM II
is 0.1ºC or 0.1ºF.
This thermometer has our new
Vario-Zooom
variable focus feature. One instrument has fields
of view variable from 4º to 20º, making it useable for a number of
applications.
Also, the
AGRI-THERM II incorporates
our TTL/SLR Intra-Optical Light Sighting System (Patent No. 4,494,881). A visible light illuminates the EXACT
Target AREA being measured. The pattern of the detector is projected in order
to see its exact size, position and texture on the target, thereby offering a
three-dimensional measurement of the target. The lighting system uses a safe
Light Emitting Diode and not a laser. The resultant temperature measured is
displayed on a numeric Liquid Crystal display on the Rear Panel of the
AGRI-THERM II.
The end-user can select to
measure the Infrared target temperature, the Ambient Dry Bulb Air temperature or
the Differential between the two (Patent No 4,301,682).
